When: October 2, 2018 from 11 am to 12:15 pm
Where: Kilcawley Center – Ohio Room
This film explores a simple, but deeply disturbing fact of American life: the most dangerous place for a woman in America is her own home. Have you ever asked, “Why doesn’t she just leave?” Private Violence shatters the brutality of our logic and intimately reveals the stories of two women: Deanna Walters, who transforms from victim to survivor, and Kit Gruelle, who advocates for justice.
The screening is free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be provided.
