In 1972, Title IX was landmark federal civil rights law legislation, especially for education. It prohibits discrimination on the basis of sex at any educational institution that receives federal funding. This panel, featuring Dr. Amanda Fehlbaum, Dr. Cryshanna Jackson Leftwich, and Title IX Coordinator Dana Lantz will explore why Title IX legislation still matters 50 years later for girls and women in sports and education as well as for pregnant students
