If you’ve ever gone to an auto repair shop and left with some lingering doubt about whether you were just taken for a ride, this is the course for you. Chaya Milchtein – the Mechanic Shop Femme – will go over the differences between a corporate and independently-owned shop, and establish how to begin your search, interview mechanics and what warranties to seek out. This knowledge is the roadmap you need to find a quality mechanic.

This workshop is especially designed for women, folks from the LGBTQ+ community, and anyone else who could use some knowledge when entering the often intimidating, confusing world of auto repair and maintenance.
